BREAKING: HOUSE REPUBLICANS Introduce Articles Of Impeachment Against Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein

Let’s just all hope that this will soon bring an end to this whole Trump-Russian collusion farce so we can get back to the business at hand.

Recently, an individual with a secret identity inside the intelligence apparatus leaked the FBI and DOJ FISA application used to access Title-1 surveillance warrant against U.S. person Carter Page.

Tucker Carlson just hosted Carter Page on the Fox News show to talk about the information contained within the FISA application used against him.

Now, a significant number of conservative House members revealed articles of impeachment towards Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Wednesday. We are currently aware that Rosenstein is officially overseeing special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

From 100percentfedup: The impeachment articles accuse Rosenstein of intentionally withholding documents and information from Congress, failure to comply with congressional subpoenas and abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

It was not immediately clear whether the House of Representatives would consider the resolution before lawmakers begin the August recess Thursday afternoon.

The articles were introduced by Reps. Mark Meadows of North Carolina and Jim Jordan of Ohio, the chairman and a prominent member of the conservative House Freedom Caucus.

Yesterday, Rep. Mark Meadows, who is also the Chairman of the Freedom Caucus, tweeted:

Potential FISA abuse has been a central issue in Congress’ investigation of the DOJ. The Carter Page FISA application revealed Rod Rosenstein signed the document and authorized surveillance. Mr. Rosenstein is a fact witness and should recuse himself from this process immediately.

Today, Congressman Mark Meadows ( R-NC) expressed his frustration with Rod Rosenstein in this tweet:

I just filed a resolution with @Jim_Jordan and several colleagues to impeach Rod Rosenstein. The DOJ has continued to hide information from Congress and repeatedly obstructed oversight–even defying multiple Congressional subpoenas. We have had enough.

In one article of impeachment, Rosenstein is accused of improperly signing off on the FISA surveillance warrant application against ex-Trump aide Carter Page.

The application heavily relied on the infamous Steele Dossier, which was funded by the Clinton campaign and the DNC and contained unverified, salacious allegations against President Trump.
